Mission Statement	Communi-Qi Acupuncture offers affordable healthcare to support the health and wellness of the Santa Cruz community. Communi-Qi Acupuncture opened our doors June of 2011, and we are a part of a growing movement of over 100 community clinics around the world that are returning to the tradition of community practice – both patients and practitioners love it! At Communi-Qi, clients are treated in a quiet, group treatment room modeled after the traditional acupuncture settings in Asia. By offering treatment in a serene group environment, everyone collectively shares the healing ambiance, the Communi-Qi. Our goal is for people to receive regular acupuncture treatments to get well, and stay well. Communi-Qi provides personalized treatments on a sliding scale ranging from $20 to $40. The patient decides what they can afford based on their income, no proof is required; people pay what they can afford. Our mission is to provide affordable high quality and effective healthcare to our community, and beyond.
Volunteer Duties	We're looking for reliable and social people to man our reception desk. Duties include answering our phone, making appointments, greeting patients, taking their payments, cashing out the shift, making copies and preparing various paperwork. Supporting the acupuncturist on duty, and our patients impeccably.
